Happy Birthday Jocelyn!!!

Four year olds are so hilarious, they are all helping unwrap the gifts, which was fine, Joss didn't mind one single bit, but what's so funny about them is that they are SO honest. Gracie who's standing behind Joss in the Belle dress in the photo under this one, walked into our house, gave Joss a huge hug and said, "I dot you a Belle doll, you are donna lub it so much!" I love it when Joss has little friends over and I can just sit and listen to their funny little voices and conversations. Jocelyn told her friends that she got her outfit from Costco, which she totally didn't but she hears me and my friends talk about where we buy things and so now she thinks that is totally relevant information for other little girls to know. If they say her shoes are cute she says "thanks I got them at Costco".
Here's the birthday girl opening gifts, she was the cutest most gracious little host, everyone got a hug after they gave her a gift, including mom and dad. We got the biggest hugs for giving her a little princess scooter.
don't they all look adorable, we were just about to play "find Cinderella's glass slipper" I hid a little glass slipper and whoever found it got to try it on and then hide it again, they absolutley love love loved it, so funny. If you can't tell which is Joss, she's 2nd Cinderella from the right
The princesses all got to make little bracelets, (nice picture of Joss though huh) just kidding
This is the little favor bucket with bouncy balls, princess stickers, lip gloss, little notebooks and of course plenty of candy, each of the little girls got to take one of each thing and make a little take home bag. (p.s. that's the invitation taped to the side of the tin.) I also sent all the little girls home with some play-doh that I made (it was actually pink lemonade kool aid doh, it's the best play doh ever) I also added some glitter to it, so it was sparkly! I really love glitter!

I set up all Joss's princess dolls that she got for Christmas on the bar.
This is the most amazing "cupcake cake" that my sweet girlfriend Kaylie made for Joss, they were such good cupcakes with buttercream icing! I never would have done such a good job, I love having amazingly talented friends! I think all the little girls had at least 3 cupcakes each!

I cannot believe that our little baby girl is already 4 years old! I never understood when my parents would say "it feels like just yesterday you were a tiny baby", but now that I'm a parent the time really does go by so fast! Mark and I can't believe how fast she is growing up, she's not a toddler at all anymore, she is such a big girl! She goes to Primary now, today was her first Sunday in Sunbeams. And she was so thrilled, she came home singing primary songs and wearing a paper crown that said "I am a child of God". So completely adorable. But yesterday, January 7 was her birthday and we had a super fun princess themed birthday. We had 6 very excited 4-yr olds running amuck through our house, I fed them so much sugar and sent them home! It was so fun!!
I also covered them in glitter, and lipstick, because what's a princess without glitter. I'm not sure who had more fun (and was more exhausted) me or Joss! And Princess tatoos, I almost forgot we totally put princess tatoos all up their arms (which they loved) and I noticed at church today there were a few "tatted" little girls. So funny! The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have all of our family here.
I am still trying to figure out how to do this whole blog thing, and I wanted the pictures to be after this lengthy little rant but I didn't really know how and Joss wants me to play so for right now this is good enough. So I apologize that it's all out of order. Hopefully you aren't too confused.

Look at Me!!!

Can you even believe it, I finally did it. Our own blog! It's my new year's resolution. Stay in touch better. I talk pretty regularly with some of my family members, but now everyone can know stuff! I'm going to let you in on a few of the goings-on in our world. But just a word of caution, I may get very honest. So if you are afraid of knowing how I really feel about things don't even read this bloggety. But other than that it should be fun!!!
